Mr. Sandoval has more than 7 years in Business Administration, Business Development solutions, Project Management and Market Intelligence in the Banking and Startups sectors, where he has led various roles in Finance, Consulting, Business Development, Marketing and Sales.
He worked for renowned local and international banks, including Banco Continental de Panama (today Banco General), Scotiabank, and HSBC, advising top clients with tools and financial solutions suitable for business growth.
In 2012, he began his journey startups development and management as founding partner and responsible for Administration and Finance duties for Micro Brew Fest Panama, a platform that promotes crafted beer industry prior to the festival didn’t exist in the country.
In 2014, he took on the challenge of developing and operating Casco Parking, a startup devised by business owners in Panama’s Old Town (Casco Viejo), where he designed the Business Plan, formalized shareholder’s participation and was in charge of operations and administration for two years.
Later, he assumed responsibilities working for the Panamanian government administration, initially as Planning Director of Tourism Destinations at the Panama Tourism Authority (www.atp.gob.pa), where he developed multi-million dollar projects and led teams made up of internationally renowned tourism experts, and later as Vice-Consul in New York, where he identified commercial opportunities and attracted foreign direct investment projects to the country.
Mr. Sandoval holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Inter-American University of Panama and an MBA from the EADA Business School in Barcelona, Spain.
